This feature length documentary tracks the life and times of cult-rock icon Sky Saxon - lead singer of the legendary Seeds - the first band to ever sell out the Hollywood Bowl. Less "Rockumentary" than a study of one man's journey from huge musical success, to his rebirth in an LA-based cult, into professional obscurity and back again, "Pushing Too Hard" is an exploration of how the ethics of the Summer Of Love both helped and hindered one survivor's journey through life, adversity and cult stardom.

Counter-cultural standup comic Doug Stanhope is the subject of this documentary portrait that explores the consequences of living life outside the mainstream. Widely hailed as one of the most original comedians working today, Doug Stanhope has committed himself to a way of working that has left him both remarkably fresh and 'too dangerous for TV'. Added to this, almost all of Doug's life is one long situationist experiment - a state of being that can often blur the line between performance and day-to-day life.
